Early life

Varun Gandhi^[2] was born in Delhi to Sanjay Gandhi and Maneka Gandhi. He is the grandson of former Prime Minister of India, Indira Gandhi and the great-grandson of India's first Prime Minister, Jawaharlal Nehru.

When Varun was three months old,his father died in a plane crash. Varun attended^[3] Rishi Valley School and the British School, New Delhi.
