Jan Tore Sanner (born 6 May 1965) is a Norwegian politician for the Conservative Party who has held several ministerial positions in Erna Solberg's government between 2013 and 2021.[1] He was also the party's deputy leader from 2004 to 2022, having first been second deputy for the first four years and first deputy for the last fourteen.
Sanner has also been a member of parliament for Akershus since 1993.
Early life and education
Jan Tore Sanner was born in Bærum as a son of biochemist Tore Sanner and local politician Nina Sanner. He grew up at Nadderud and finished his secondary education at Nadderud Upper Secondary School in 1984.
