Ariana Grande Biography

Ariana Grande-Butera is an American songwriter, singer, and actress best known for her role of Cat Valentine in the Nickelodeon series Victorious and Sam and Cat.

Two Grammy Awards, one Brit Award, two Billboard Music Awards, three American Music Awards, nine MTV Video Music Awards, and 27 Guinness World Records have been bestowed to her during her career.

At a young age, she performed at the Fort Lauderdale Children’s Theater playing in the musical Annie.

Ariana also performed in their musicals The Wizard of Oz and Beauty and the Beast.

In 2009, Butera was cast in the television show Victorious alongside Elizabeth Gillies. In the show, set at a performing arts high school, she played the adorably dimwitted” Cat Valentine.

After the first season of Victorious wrapped, Ariana wanted to focus on her music career and began working on her debut album in August 2010.

On the show, she has also been associated with Daniella Monet.
